Click pictures for enlarged view German production company, Ziegler Films, filming a period drama, set in 1914, titled "Das Haus der Schwestern" or" The Sister's House". Directed by top German Director, Rolf von Sydow, starring major German actor, Max Tidof, the set included interiors and exteriors. Scenes included a baby being born in one of the bedrooms, as well as a death in another bedroom. The production was transmitted in Germany on TV channel ZDF, on 10.03.02 |

Culver House and grounds was used for an episode in "Down to Earth", one of BBC 1's top-rated series, starring Pauline Quirke and Warren Clarke. In this episode Warren's character was booked in for an organic horticulture course; not knowing the course had been cancelled, and finding the house shut up with no-one inside, he tries to look inside the house and gets arrested by the police for acting suspiciously. Filmed in April 2001 and transmitted in September 2001. |
